We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded professional with experience in a government contracting environment to join our team. Rocket City HR is an award-winning Human Resources consulting firm located in Madison, Alabama. We provide an array of Human Resources Services to our clients including: audits, handbooks, HR department management, employment law compliance, seminars, and workshops.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline desired; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years experience as an HR Generalist 
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-PC/SHRM-SPC certification preferred
  • Demonstrated HR experience in a government contracting environment
  • Demonstrated success implementing initiatives within organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and administer a broad range of tasks including: resolving complaints, counseling managers and employees, ensuring organization compliance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current and progressive principles and practices of human resources 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, interact with, and influence with all levels of management and employees
  • Strong understanding of business, financial, and operational excellence acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and make decisions in a consistent manner
